EVALUATION OF THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN NURSING STUDENTS’ DYSFUNCTIONAL ATTITUDES AND THEIR ACCEPTANCE OF AESTHETIC SURGERY

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between nursing students’ dysfunctional attitudes and their acceptance aesthetic surgery. performed as a descriptive with 105 second-year students at health sciences faculty located in central Black Sea Region Turkey. Descriptive Characteristics Form, Acceptance Cosmetic Surgery short-form Dysfunctional Attitudes Scale were used for collection data. Data analysed by using SPSS Statistics 23.0. statistics (frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation), Mann-Whitney U, Kolmogorov-Smirnov, Kruskal-Wallis Pearson's correlation tests used. It found that mean scores obtained from respectively 52.44±20.97 87.64±17.97 points.
